Employees in biotech companies are familiar with the balancing act to develop state-of-the-art technology with excellent future prospects in a situation in which the company does not (yet) have any products on the market and is therefore dependent on external financing. The passion for research must be paired with economic thinking. Additionally Biotechs are in competition with the established pharmaceutical companies in the fight for the best people. Big Pharma is supposed to keep their course easier and give more security rather than Biotech's. Winning people who understand the basic conditions of a biotech company as a necessary basis for their work satisfaction is and always remains a challenging task.
